Compliance: UK GDPR // Updated Feb 2026

01. Introduction

This policy outlines how I collect, use, and safeguard your personal data. Operating as a bespoke photography studio in Southend, I am committed to absolute transparency and full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

02. Data Collection

I may process the following categories of information:

  • Identity & Contact: Name, email, phone, and postal address.
  • Commission Details: Intake form data including session dates, locations, and social media handles.
  • Technical Data: Website interactions, cookies, and analytics.

03. How I Manage Your Data

When you submit an enquiry through this website, the information provided is processed and stored securely via Google Drive (Google Workspace). This integration allows for efficient management of your commission and ensures that your project details are accessible only to the studio for the purpose of fulfilling your request. I do not sell or share this data with outside parties, and it is retained only for as long as necessary to provide my professional services or as required by UK law.

04. Purpose of Processing

Your data is used exclusively to manage bookings, deliver photography services, process payments, and, with your explicit consent, showcase images for promotional purposes on my portfolio.

05. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored through Squarespace’s secure data storage and databases. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. I take all appropriate measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, and I retain it only for as long as necessary to fulfil contractual and legal obligations.

06. Your Statutory Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your data. You may also withdraw consent for the promotional usage of your images at any time.
