Professional Services Agreement // Updated Feb 2026
01. Introduction
These terms govern the professional photography services provided by Matt Daley Photography. By confirming a booking, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following conditions of service.
02. Scope of Service
I provide bespoke visual services including, but not limited to: Studio Portraits, Corporate Headshots, Event Coverage, Product Photography, Pet Portraiture, and Professional Retouching. Every commission is executed to the "Signature Standard" of the studio.
03. Bookings & Deposits
A booking is only secured upon receipt of a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable if a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot.
04. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule made at least 48 hours prior to the session will be accommodated subject to studio availability. Cancellations within the 48-hour window result in forfeiture of the deposit.
05. Copyright & Usage
As the photographer, I retain full copyright of all images. The Client is granted a licence for use (Personal or Commercial) as defined in the project brief. Images may not be edited, filtered, or altered by the client or third parties without explicit written permission.
06. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to arrive promptly. For location or event commissions, it is the Client’s responsibility to secure all necessary venue permissions and attendee waivers. Product commissions must be delivered in "camera-ready" condition.
07. Delivery & Force Majeure
Standard delivery times are communicated at booking. While I take every precaution, I am not liable for circumstances beyond my control (technical failure, weather, or unforeseen events). Should I be unable to fulfill a booking due to illness, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
